TBR Update and New Books
One thing I really wanted to do this year is get that TBR pile under control as a result, I have joined the Mount TBR Reading Challenge, and have also challenged myself to put less into the TBR as I take out. I started the year with 159 Books in my To-Be-Read pile. This month I read and reviewed eight books from that pile, which is pretty impressive, and added in five, which still puts me ahead. Here are my new books for January:

Other Reflections
I'm not going to lie. It was not easy to keep up with my blog this month. As far as reading goes, it was a pretty typical month for me, but writing and posting reviews was not easy. I think this is mostly due to the extra updates I had for the end of 2012/beginning of 2013, meaning I basically started the year behind schedule for my reviews. Hopefully, February will be a little more manageable!
